Music Festivals
a music festival consist of dozens of bands, playing on stages in a giant field, and plenty of happy people who come and camp for the weekend.Vendors come and set up booths and sell their products. You can find the most unique jewlery and clothing here. Last year I attended my first music festival. The Echo Project, it was held on a giant farm south of Atlanta Ga. October 2007. It is truley a life changing experience. I fell in love with the festivals that weekend and if it didn't cost so much to do it I would attend more of them, there is alot of traveling involved because they are held all around the country and they don't come to Atlanta very often.
I have only attended two festivals and my second was this summer, Rothbury, held in Rothbury MI. It was a great roadtrip for my friends and I to take. It took us 18 hours to get there, due to car trouble, but it was a 16 hour trip. This festival held all of my favorite bands; Dave Matthews Band, Modest Mouse, 311, Slightly Stoopid, STS9, michael franti and spearhead, Snoop Dogg, The wailers, and many many more. I suggest everyone who likes music and the outdoors should do this atleast once in their life. It makes you look at things differently.
